Data team plays a critical role in shaping the way we are making decisions based on data and, to make sure we’re doing that in the best way possible, we’re now looking for a talented  Mid/Senior Data Engineer to work in our data team.

Here’s what you’ll be doing as a Data Engineer:

• Develop and support existing data pipelines from our key business systems to our data lake on AWS.
• Develop new and support existing data transformation models to populate our DWH
• Build data validation rules and data quality monitors for data quality assurance
• Spend time improving the performance of our data platform, and help us stay up to date on all best practices
• Help us implement and maintain data governance across the company

Here’s what we’d love from our new Data Engineer:

• Very good SQL knowledge
• Experience in performance tunning on Analytical databases (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.)
• Familiar with data integration patterns and tooling, including ELT/ETL, replication, and event streaming to support batch and near real-time data needs
• Knowledge of data lake design and implementation, columnar storage formats (Parquet), and partitioning
• Hands-on Python, Spark.
• Good knowledge of database performance tuning and data modeling techniques

• You are a good communicator and can use English effectively at work
• You can champion engineering innovation and best practices
• You enjoy sharing your experience with other engineers and helping others to succeed

• Data modeling and transformation: dbt, Glue, Python, Lambda
