Job Description:

Robotec.ai is a software company that develops hi-tech solutions for robotics and automotive industries. We help our customers build state-of-the-art robotic simulations and testing tools to ensure their machines work safely and efficiently. Our engineers also develop various R&D projects and products. We believe that human-centered robotics and open source are the future of sustainable growth.

We are currently looking for an experienced C++ Engineer.

What you will do:

1. Develop high-quality software (including real-time applications)
2. Work on ROS(2) projects, improving performance of the most advanced robotics middleware
3. Create realistic simulations for various industries such as mining, agriculture, or automotive based on modern graphic engines

Requirements:

1. Strong software engineering, problem-solving, and algorithmic skills
2. MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
3. At least 2 years of experience in C++ development, with a focus on modern standards (17+)
4. Experience working with Linux (we use Ubuntu 22.04)
5. Familiarity with modern software development tools and best practices including git, code review, CI, and unit testing
6. Team-player mindset and good communication skills
7. Genuine interest in robotics and computer simulation
8. Proficiency in the English language

Nice to haves:

1. Experience with Python and web development
2. Familiarity with cloud services, especially on AWS
3. Understanding of robotics (ROS, ROS2), electronics, and sensors (e.g. LiDAR, IMU)
4. Familiarity with computer graphics based on O3DE, Unity3D, or Unreal Engine
