For our client in the banking sector, we are looking for a Data Warehouse Analyst.

The person in this role will be primarily responsible for:

• Comprehensive identification of business needs at the system user level
• System and business analysis of data sources, preparing requirement specifications, data profiling, and data modeling
• Defining and specifying functional and non-functional requirements within the scope of the data warehouse project
• Designing the data warehouse
• Creating analytical and design documentation

Developing system analysis in the area of the data warehouse, analytical, and reporting databases

Ensuring compliance of the developed system with business requirements

Experience required

Required qualifications:

• Minimum one year of experience in operational work with data (e.g. in a data warehouse, BI, business use of information, etc.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL
• Knowledge of methodologies for developing IT systems and software engineering
• Strong communication skills, good self-organization, and motivation to work
• Good command of English (both spoken and written, allowing for fluent communication)

Nice to have:

• Experience in the financial sector
• Experience working with data modeling tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect, IBM Data Architect, etc.)

Experience with ETL tools (e.g. Ab Initio, IBM InfoSphere DataStage)
