Within this environment, the Digital Software department is responsible for building and integrating applications that process message flows from around 87,000 reverse vending machines worldwide, supporting consumers, retailers, service operations, and national deposit systems.
Job Description
The Digital Software department is looking for a skilled frontend developer to join one of its cross-functional teams. The department consists of four teams, each with 3-8 developers working across both frontend and backend. As part of the team, you will help develop and maintain modern applications that enable critical flows of data and interactions for TOMRA’s global ecosystem.
You will work with technologies such as TypeScript, React, Svelte, Tailwind CSS, Firebase, and Cypress for automated testing.

Design, develop, and deploy high-quality frontend solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new functionalities
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and promote knowledge sharing
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to help maintain an innovative engineering environment
requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
Minimum 5 years of experience as a developer
Proficiency in React, Svelte, and/or similar modern frontend frameworks
Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with system development using agile methodologies
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Firebase
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Strong problem-solving abilities
Detail-oriented and committed to high-quality standards
Self-driven and proactive
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Flexibility and adaptability when working with complex, evolving systems
