About the Client

Our client, TOMRA, is a Norwegian global leader in cutting-edge collection and sorting technology, recognized worldwide for pioneering innovative solutions that accelerate the transition toward a circular economy. Within this environment, the Digital Software department is responsible for building and integrating applications that process message flows from around 87,000 reverse vending machines worldwide, supporting consumers, retailers, service operations, and national deposit systems.

Job Description

The Digital Software department is looking for a skilled frontend developer to join one of its cross-functional teams. The department consists of four teams, each with 3-8 developers working across both frontend and backend. As part of the team, you will help develop and maintain modern applications that enable critical flows of data and interactions for TOMRA’s global ecosystem.

You will work with technologies such as TypeScript, React, Svelte, Tailwind CSS, Firebase, and Cypress for automated testing.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a developer
• Proficiency in React, Svelte, and/or similar modern frontend frameworks
• Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with system development using agile methodologies
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Firebase
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented and committed to high-quality standards
• Self-driven and proactive
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
