We are looking for a few Mid Data Engineers who are skilled in Snowflake to join a project where you’ll contribute to building, governing, and operating data products for our client in automotive industry across the full lifecycle — from ingestion to serving — while working within defined standards and best practices.

This is a fully remote role (EU-based due to regulatory requirements).

Your responsibilities:

Build and deliver data products

• Develop source-aligned and analytical data products for BI, ML, and AI use cases

• Work closely with domain teams in cross-functional setup

• Deliver well-defined data contracts, documentation, SLAs, and runbooks

Work according to shared standards

• Follow established modeling patterns, CI/CD pipelines, and testing strategies

• Contribute to reusable templates and shared components

• Provide structured feedback to continuously improve standards and “golden paths”

Enable and collaborate with domain teams

• Support teams in adopting data ownership and best practices

• Participate in pair-programming and structured collaboration

• Contribute to knowledge transfer and sustainable ownership models

Ensure production-grade operations

• Maintain high data quality and governance standards

• Monitor lineage, metadata, cost, usage, and SLAs

• Ensure observability and reliability of delivered data products

You might be the perfect match if you possess the following competencies:

• minimum 2 years of prior commercial experience in Data Engineering

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Snowflake

  • dbt

  • AWS and/or Azure

• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines in modern ELT/ETL setups

• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing in data environments

• Understanding of Data Mesh or distributed data ownership concepts

• Basic knowledge of data governance, data contracts, and modeling patterns

• Proactive, quality-oriented, and improvement-driven mindset

• Excellent English communication skills

• Location in Poland or within the EU
