We are looking for a proficient T-SQL/ MSSQL Developer to cooperate with our client - a specialized provider of Asset and Fund Management solutions in the Nordic region, offering services across Asset Management, Fund Management, Trust Management, and Family Office. Their platform enables full digital business management with powerful API integrations to major banks and features such as client definition, offer customization, and automated asset allocation (robo-advice).
The main project is focusing on a migration of a complex OLTP database from Microsoft SQL Server to AWS Babelfish. The database supports a web application used by financial institutions to manage their clients’ investment portfolios.
responsibilities :
Rewriting T-SQL stored procedures from the original SQL Server form into T-SQL syntax compatible with AWS Babelfish.
Working with recursion and stored procedures.
Monitoring and tuning database performance and troubleshooting any performance issues.
Collaborating with the Scandinavian team and (occasionally) managers from the Balkan region.
requirements-expected :
5+ years of experience in a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (transactions, indexing, query performance tuning, XML processing).
Comprehensive understanding of Transact-SQL.
Experience with OLTP systems.
General understanding of AWS Cloud.
