Location: Wrocław / Katowice – 2 days office / 3 days remote.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to lead the development and growth of the Finance and Operations area within the Microsoft D365 Competency in our Consulting organization. The Senior Manager will shape our Microsoft ERP service offerings, drive certifications, enable technical excellence, and ensure alignment with business and client needs. The role involves managing a team of specialists, fostering their growth, engagement, and performance, while collaborating with leadership teams, practice heads, and delivery teams across IT and business project services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations part of the competency development strategy across the organization.
  • Build, lead, and manage a high‑performing team focused on Microsoft technologies and solutions.
  • Serve as the ultimate expert in mapping client requirements across General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets and Cash Management, or in the Logistics and Manufacturing areas.
  • Interpret functional requirements onshore and deliver and design solutions from nearshore and offshore.
  • Take responsibility for delivery, driving projects as an owner.
  • Identify skill gaps, design training programs, and oversee certification initiatives to build a strong Microsoft expertise base.
  • Work closely with Sales, Delivery, and Solutioning teams to align Microsoft capabilities with client demand and strategic goals.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with Microsoft to leverage their programs, tools, and co‑sell opportunities.
  • Create roadmaps for capability building around Microsoft technologies, connecting Finance and Operations with Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and AI solutions.
  • Monitor and report progress toward competency targets, certifications, and business impact.
  • Support the design and launch of new Microsoft‑based services and solutions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence within the organization.
  • Act as an internal advocate and subject‑matter expert for Microsoft technologies.
  • Manage team performance, career development, and engagement through regular feedback, coaching, and mentoring.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Background in development and DevSecOps best practices.
  • Excellent technical skills and expertise in architecture and delivery of large‑scale, mission‑critical distributed applications in public cloud and private cloud/on‑premises setups.
  • Self‑motivated with strong communication and team‑building skills.
  • Iterative teamwork with continuous collaboration.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 13+ years of experience in the IT consulting industry, with a strong focus on Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations or earlier versions.
  • Substantial relevant experience, preferably with a Big 4 or Top 5 IT consulting organization.
  • Proven experience in competency development, technical enablement, or practice management.
  • Strong leadership skills with at least 10+ years managing technical or consulting teams.
  • People‑management experience leading large teams with strong client relationships and account‑management skills.
  • Master in finance or an equivalent education.
  • Excellent project‑management, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Expert, Dynamics 365 certifications) highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Ability to drive cross‑functional initiatives and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work with and influence multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience building, leading, and coaching teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Strategic leadership abilities; good decision‑making, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Experience of collaborating with directors/patners to align customer and company business strategies.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
