• As a MES Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support Garmin’s manufacturing operations. You will contribute to both new product development and enhancements of existing systems, ensuring reliable, scalable, and efficient software that meets business needs.

• Design, develop, and maintain software for Garmin manufacturing systems and applications using C#, Java, or other selected languages.
• Build upon existing solutions by adding new functionalities and improving system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues by reproducing problems, performing root cause analysis, and implementing tested solutions.
• Apply engineering standards and document designs in an organized manner.
• Actively participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Support manufacturing operations as part of a rotating on-call schedule (24/7 operations).
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical research on new technologies.
• Provide reliable solutions to various technical challenges, using sound problem-solving techniques.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Fluency in English at B2/C1 level
• 1+ years of professional experience (internships included) in software development.
• Experience with:
• Java (Spring, RESTful APIs, containerization strategies).
• Postgres or other relational database technologies.
• Angular web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS/SASS/SCSS, Bootstrap).
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with tools such as debuggers, emulators, simulators, and logic analyzers.
• Effective written and verbal communication in both technical and non-technical contexts.
• Strong academic background (GPA ≥ 3.0 preferred).
• Ability to adapt to changing business and customer needs, accept feedback, and continuously improve
