Winthrop specialises in providing turnkey data centre solutions, offering services from design through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning.

We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries , equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight .

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a MEP Lead to join our team.

Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
2. Propose suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction programme, and enhance specification and quality completion
3. Display commercial astuteness
4. Monitor construction regarding quality of workmanship and materials
5. Coordinate and liaise with contracts manager, site engineers, and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information
6. Check and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner
7. Establish project resource requirements and lead and motivate the project team
8. Oversee the highest quality of health and safety

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or relevant area
2. Strong knowledge of procurement
3. Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing
4. Experience in effectively leading MEP teams is essential
5. Experience in the delivery of large-scale MEP projects
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
