Your day at Ferring:

The Medical Science Liaison is a customer-facing position responsible for the medical and scientific support of key opinion leaders and customers, thus leveraging the spread of knowledge and reputation of Ferring and its products, laying the foundation of business achievements for the assigned therapeutic areas/products.

Main responsibilities:

• Liaises and supports development of key and regional opinion leaders (KOL/ROL e.g. Leader of relevant university hospitals, IVF clinics public and private ones).
• Provides high-quality medical and scientific support/communications to internal and external customers (e.g. advisory board meetings, peer-to-peer workshops, local/cluster/regional training courses/workshops together with KOL/ROL, support of speakers with presentations and literature research).
• Manages Phase IV studies and IIT and ensures that proposals are aligned with medical objectives within Ferring locally and globally. Ensures study projects are in line with commercial objectives.
• Ensures that planned local medical activities are transferred to physicians by sales representatives and key account managers.
• Maintains high level of scientific and technical expertise in therapeutic areas. Develops and increases knowledge of medical literature. Prepares and presents critical reviews of scientific publications and congresses, internally and externally.
• Completes necessary documentation in order to ensure knowledge preservation (e.g. CRM reports). Uses necessary tools to develop and follow up on strategic measures (project plans).
• Writes and ensures timely submission of locally relevant abstracts at congresses.
• Provides cross-functional support for Market Access activities and the Commercial Team.
• Provides medical training to the Commercial Team.
• Monitors competitor activities.

• At least 2-3 years of professional experience in MSL role in the pharmaceutical industry, in relevant therapeutic areas.
• University degree (natural sciences or medical).
• Broad knowledge of general medicine or comparable knowledge.
• Fluent English, native Polish.
• Knowledge in planning and execution of scientific studies.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills (including presentations).
• Strong networking skills (includes internal teams).
• Understanding of local healthcare environment, regulations and market access.
• Strong knowledge of GCP.
• PV, Compliance knowledge will be beneficial.
