Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Medical Lead and Commercial team to build a strong medical presence in the local market.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key medical experts and opinion leaders in relevant therapeutic areas, gaining deep insight into their needs.
- Support the development and dissemination of complex scientific content, sharing product-related data with various stakeholders.
- Promote disease awareness by organizing local educational initiatives such as symposia, advisory boards, and scientific meetings, aligned with disease area strategies and compliance standards.
- Coordinate pre-launch and life cycle management activities for current and pipeline products.
- Provide medical support and respond to unsolicited inquiries from healthcare professionals in accordance with local regulations and internal procedures.
- Engage in scientific discussions with therapeutic specialists on diagnostic and clinical aspects of relevant disease areas.
- Facilitate local patient access programs (EAPs) to address unmet medical needs.
- Gather competitive intelligence and market insights on diagnostics and treatment trends in the region.
- Share insights from key opinion leaders that inform brand strategy and planning.
- Support internal knowledge development by delivering training to sales and cross-functional teams on disease and product-related topics, in line with guidance from the Medical Affairs Director.
- Oversee or support local aspects of investigator-initiated trials and other research projects, ensuring compliance with local laws and company procedures.
- Ensure pharmacovigilance and risk management activities are implemented in accordance with local regulations and internal standards.
- Uphold legal and ethical compliance in all medical activities as per internal SOPs and national laws.
- Provide support for other medical projects as needed.
???? Candidate Profile:
- Advanced degree in life sciences or a related field is required—preferably a Doctor of Medicine (MD), or equivalent (PhD, PharmD, MSc in Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Proven track record working with innovative therapies and within forward-thinking organizations.
- Ideally has experience in oncology and a well-established network of top national KOLs.
- Previous involvement in product launches is a plus.
- Strong scientific, clinical, and medical affairs expertise.
- Comfortable discussing both on-label and off-label clinical and scientific topics.
- Skilled in using data insights to guide next steps and enhance stakeholder engagement.
- Experience collaborating with a variety of healthcare stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of the local healthcare landscape.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
