basic salary + fixed bonus (e.g., quarterly, annual)

• Collect and analyze client needs (design offices, industrialization, manufacturing).
• Support M&P developments in line with the TRL matrix.
• Plan and conduct experiments and characterizations.
• Define and maintain test quality standards.
• Execute test campaigns with appropriate instrumentation.
• Perform metrological, roughness, metallurgical, and fractographic analyses.
• Prepare test reports and lead technical reviews.
• Contribute to numerical simulations and experimental correlation.
• Stay up to date with testing and characterization technologies.
• Integrate environmental considerations into design and testing.

Our requirements

• MSc in Materials Science with emphasis on Mechanics of Materials or Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Materials. Specialization in metals is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of similar experience.
• Organization and planning skills.
• Ability to realize complex experimental works on R&D test machines.
• Good data analytical, reseach skills and and attentive to detail.
• Work collaboratively with others.
• Thorough knowledge of materials mechanics, materials science and research methods,
• Demonstrated ability to independently assess the requirements; interpret the results and prepare reportsband/or science publications.
• Proficiency in English at a communicative level is required; knowledge of French will be an additional asset.
