The Product Design Studio Competence Center is looking for a Mechanical Test Lead to join our team and perform tasks for a client in the dairy industry. The role involves verifying and validating new products and their interfaces, with a particular focus on mechanical testing of components and systems. The position is based on a hybrid model from the client’s office in Wroclaw, requiring 3 days a week in the office.
Your tasks
- Responsible for testing prototype solutions (milking, feeding, cooling, etc.), mainly for mechanical parameters.
- Preparing and conducting tests of components such as valves, actuators, or sensors.
- Creating test documentation: test cases, test runs, test plans, test specifications, and test reports.
- Determining test strategy: which test cases or series are needed and in what order.
- Supporting and troubleshooting field installations.
- Analyzing problems detected during verification.
Requirements
- Work experience in a similar position.
- University degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering.
- Practical knowledge of mechanical testing in an R&D environment.
- Knowledge of various types of valves, sensors and actuators.
- Knowledge of products consisting of PLC control systems and familiarity with LabVIEW visual programming language is welcome.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Residence in Poland required.
- Open to working hybrid from the client’s office in Wroclaw (3 days a week).
