Mechanical Lead Engineer Electrical

In this position, you will be managing CAD Routing Integration & Mechanical Engineering Electrical teams, activities, and deliverables in one Electrical Domain on project in compliance with QCD commitments. You will apply applicable Electrical/Mechanical Domain instructions, processes & tools.

Responsible for:

• Planning and piloting Electrical Domain activities and related deliverables on project while considering applicable instructions/processes and specific Customer (internal or external) requirements.
• Applying TE rules, processes and tools (single-domain) and ensuring Electrical Domain deliverables quality and their acceptance by the Customer (internal or external) within committed limits.
• Managing production of deliverables in accordance with planning targets on Electrical Domain assigned work packages.
• Designing products in accordance with project requirements (performances, manufacturability, serviceability, testability, etc.).
• Preparing and documenting Electrical Domain Design Reviews according to project schedule and following up on main open actions.
• Checking respect of allocated volumes/interfaces (no clashes) on internal design.
• Resolving Project Mechanical & Electrical issues and following challenging actions (single-domain).
• Defining mitigation plans covering risks identified on Project Electrical Domain scope.
• Reporting on Electrical Domain activities progress, anticipating issues (capacity, skills, rule applicability, etc.) and alerting if needed.
• Respecting and/or allocating requirements and mechanical interfaces to Sub-Systems/equipments (Allocated volume, weight, location, 3PL, etc.).
• Coordinating Electrical Domain contributors on Project.
• Analysing and consolidating change request impacts on Electrical Domain scope.
• Validating relevant Electrical Domain deliverables and securing planning.
• Verifying design via mock-ups or simulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills including with third parties (customers).
• Time management and reporting skills.
• Sense of urgency / priority.
• Customer & Product Focus.
• Structured and organised with a hands-on approach.
• Catia V5 knowledge (including EHI).
• Good knowledge of Railway standards.
