We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Machinery and Equipment (EQM) department in Kraków-Zabierzów. This role is ideal for a technically focused individual with expertise in machine design, component selection, and strong collaboration skills. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing machinery, supporting assembly teams with technical insights, and working closely with safety specialists, automation, and electrical engineers. Experience in intralogistics, packaging, and advanced technologies such as Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) would be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Design and Development : Develop machine designs from scratch, ensuring they meet technical specifications and functionality requirements.
  • Component Selection : Identify and validate components to match project design specifications.
  • Technical Project Support : Provide expertise and work closely with project managers, safety specialists, automation, and electrical engineers to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Assembly Support : Collaborate with the assembly team to address technical questions and support alignment with design specifications, without direct responsibility for assembly coordination.
  • Supplier Collaboration and Control : Build and maintain effective relationships with subcontractors, ensuring quality and adherence to project standards.
  • Cost Estimation : Prepare accurate project cost estimates, covering man-hours and material requirements.
  • Travel : Availability for occasional business trips to support project activities as required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine construction, with demonstrated success in designing machinery from the ground up.
  • Experience in intralogistics, packaging, and familiarity with technologies like AGVs is beneficial.
  • Strong technical focus with an emphasis on precise design and alignment with project requirements.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with assembly teams, safety specialists, automation, and electrical engineering teams.
  • Supplier management experience, including quality assurance and project alignment.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation for man-hours and materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.
