Job Description

The Challenge of the Mechanical Engineer in a few words

As a Mechanical Engineer you will play a key role in developing and designing mechanical components for highly specialized equipment. You will contribute to innovative technical solutions, collaborate with international cross‑functional teams, and support the entire process from concept development through prototyping to its finalization.

  • Prepare the detailed concept of mechanics
  • Design parts, assemblies and machines using 3D CAD tool
  • Create and review drawings and other specification documents
  • Define bill of materials
  • Support the integration of hardware, software and assembly process
  • Define manufacturing processes and inspection methods
  • Collaborate with part manufacturers to support prototypes and production

Qualifications

The ideal candidate in a few words

  • Degree: A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experienced:
    • At least 2 years of experience in mechanical fixture test design (Functional Test Fixtures, RF/Wireless test Fixtures, Leak tests, EOL testing machines)
    • Knowledge of how to make a PCBA Bed of Nails fixture
  • Proficient:
    • Thorough understanding of manufacturing/testing process
    • Knowledge of CAD tools (Soliworks)
    • Detailed knowledge of 2D Drawing creation and GD&T
    • Analyze designs using Tolerance Stackup Analysis, static load analysis, Finite Element Analysis
    • Understanding pneumatics design principles
    • Electromechanical troubleshooting
    • Ability to read, follow and understand electrical schematics will be an asset
  • Skills:
    • Ability to collaborate with other departments, customers, suppliers
    • Clear and concise, pay attention to details
  • Multilingual: At least upper intermediate English level, written & spoken
