Your future team

You will be joining a team of 12 skilled engineers plus a manager, all working together on Waste and Abatement solutions. Our focus is on recycling and waste processing machines, as well as air purification equipment. Collaboration and innovation drive our success, and you’ll play a key role in shaping sustainable solutions for our factories worldwide.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the development and implementation of melting installations in our factories worldwide. While some design work is involved, your role will focus on working with suppliers, specifying equipment, managing tenders, and overseeing implementation.

You will participate in a range of projects from small machine deliveries and engineering support on existing lines to large green‑field projects, installing complete production lines in an existing facility or rolling out new lines primarily in Europe, Asia, and North America.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Defining technical requirements and specifications for melting furnaces and auxiliary equipment
  • Analyzing issues, setting up requirements and reviewing technical 3D designs in AutoCad/Inventor from a mechanical perspective
  • Identifying and collaborating with suppliers to source optimal solutions
  • Preparing tender materials and participating in procurement processes
  • Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best quality and value
  • Supervising installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of new technologies
  • Ensuring compliance with global regulations and safety standards
  • Providing support and service after implementation to maintain operational excellence
  • Traveling to Europe, North America, and Asia (60‑100 days/year) to meet with suppliers, oversee project implementation, and ensure smooth commissioning

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys the challenge of driving projects from concept to completion. You are proactive, results‑oriented, and have strong problem‑solving skills. While design experience is valuable, this role is best suited for someone who enjoys working closely with suppliers and managing project execution.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (machine design, thermodynamics, environmental, or related field) or Mechatronics
  • 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, ideally with exposure to industrial equipment, power plants, or similar industries
  • Strong skills in defining technical specifications and working with suppliers
  • Experience with procurement, tenders, and technical negotiations (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with Office 365, including SharePoint
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
