Join the Engineering Services team at Sii and support the development of cutting‑edge solutions for a global leader in the industrial automation industry! If you enjoy combining design, analysis and working with technical documentation, this role is for you.

The collaboration takes place in a hybrid model: 3 days a week in the Katowice office.

Tasks

• Update and maintain 2D/3D CAD documentation in accordance with engineering changes (ECO)
• Modification and maintenance of BOMs
• Supporting tolerance, feasibility and mechanical validation analyses
• Prepare test plans and participate in testing and prototyping
• Maintain design documentation in PLM/ERP systems
• Updating technical documentation, cable drawings and Tech Pub
• Searching for replacements for discontinued components

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a CAD Designer
• Higher technical education (preferred majors: mechanics, mechatronics, automation)
• Practical knowledge of 3D CAD tools – CREO or similar (SolidWorks, NX, Inventor) is welcome
• Experience in working with technical documentation and PLM/ERP systems
• Ability to work with bills of materials (BOM)
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing and manufacturing technology
• Communicative knowledge of the English language
• Residence in Poland required and fluency in the Polish language
