The Job

You will be responsible for:

• Complete management of McAfee ePO versions 4.6 & 5.1, 5.3, 5.9 & 10 (Including Implementation & Administration of VSE, HIPS, MA, EEPC, SAE, DLP, ENS).
• Analyse threat logs and mitigate infections from machines to ensure security.
• Handle zero-day attacks, manage the customer with best practices, and instruct users on how to avoid becoming victims of attacks. Create stringent VSE Access Protection Rules to prevent major outbreaks.
• Interact with anti-virus product vendors when required for solutions (e.g., Extra DAT, hotfixes for endpoint products, bug fixes).
• Manage and maintain the McAfee EPO database.
• Configure and manage various reporting in McAfee ePO, ensuring all auto-responses function correctly and troubleshooting reporting issues.
• Assist with the McAfee SQL backup process, restore, and effective database size management by running SQL queries periodically, as well as assisting with SQL-related issues.
• Configure and manage various versions of ePO servers such as ePO 4.xx & 5.x.
• Ensure that Active Directory is configured and working with ePO, so that synchronization occurs on a scheduled basis to import new machines into ePO for deployment and management.

The Profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience with McAfee and its products.
• Network security knowledge.
• Malware analysis skills.
• Ability to handle zero-day attacks.
• Skills in ADFS.
• TOP/SOP document writing skills.
• Experience with any other antivirus platform is an added advantage.
• Ability to work within 24/7 shifts.
