The role is based in a hybrid work model, requiring presence in the office at Chorzowska in Katowice 3 times per week.
In this role, you will provide support to Buying in assigned areas of responsibility to develop the sales and profitability of the company, assist with Buying projects, and complete Buying tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Support the replenishment process by maintaining replenishment parameters for assigned raw and packaging materials in line with inventory policies
- Review MRP outputs and inventory projections, and manage material exceptions within the tactical planning horizon in collaboration with internal stakeholders (Supply Network Planning, Commercial, Procurement) and external suppliers
- Share material forecasts with Procurement and external suppliers and support alignment on supply plans
- Update and maintain MRP plans, balancing inventory levels and capacity to ensure on-time material availability
- Monitor supplier performance and support identification of issues and improvement opportunities in cooperation with the Commercial and Procurement teams
- Support phase-in / phase-out activities for materials and BOMs in line with planning requirements
- Identify and report master data inconsistencies to the Master Data Management team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied mathematics or another relevant field
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, outsourcing or supply chain environment
- Fluent French English (spoken and written)
- Good understanding of planning systems and their basic functionality
- Working knowledge of ERP systems; experience with SAP, Oracle or JDE is an asset
- Basic experience in supply or material planning (MRP, inventory management, waste reduction)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a strong customer focus
