Your new company
For our Client, an international company in the new technology sector, we are looking for Candidates for the role of Master Data Team Leader.

Your new role 

• Lead and manage the Master Data Management (MDM) team, ensuring high-quality execution of master data activities.
• Define and distribute team responsibilities, ensuring an efficient workflow and monitoring performance.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring balanced workloads and timely task completion.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team efficiency and data quality.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance in the creation, modification, and maintenance of vendor, client, material, and employee master data.
• Implement and drive data governance frameworks, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, data governance principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead data quality initiatives, including cleansing, validation, and error resolution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, resolving data-related issues and inquiries.
• Review and optimize master data processes, driving continuous improvement and automation.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for MDM activities.
• Ensure timely processing of master data requests, in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Create, update, or approve vendors’, clients’, and employees’ master data in the system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor data security, ensuring alignment with corporate IT and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement and enhance MDM tools and automation solutions.
• Participate in and lead cross-functional projects, focusing on automation, standardization, and system enhancements.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Quality (preferably in a Shared Services Center (SSC)).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Management, IT, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in team management, including mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, master data management principles, and best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or SAP S/4HANA), with a focus on P2P, O2C, and R2R processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, pivot tables, macros, Power Query) and strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus.
• Strong process management and system administration skills, with the ability to enhance MDM-related workflows.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
• Proactive mindset, with a strong focus on process improvements, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Fluent in spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills. Knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage.
