Job Description:

Supervise a team of Master Data Administrators, providing guidance, coaching, and training as needed.

Led the maintenance and creation of master data records for materials, customers, vendors, business partners, and pricing in multiple SAP systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce data governance standards and policies.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness by implementing robust data quality controls and processes.

Oversee the resolution of data-related issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.

Implement and maintain data maintenance best practices and continuously seek process improvement opportunities.

Liaise with IT teams to support SAP system enhancements, upgrades, and data integration projects.

Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to master data management.

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in master data management.

Act as the primary point of contact for all master data-related inquiries and escalations, providing expert guidance to resolve complex issues.

Collaborate with SAP system administrators and IT teams to ensure the smooth integration of master data processes and any system enhancements or updates.

Lead data cleansing and data enrichment initiatives to improve data quality and accuracy.

Develop and maintain data governance documentation, including data standards, procedures, and workflows.

Conduct regular audits and data quality assessments to identify and address data discrepancies and anomalies.

Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry compliance requirements related to master data, and ensure the organizations adherence to these standards.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience (12+ years) in master data management, with a strong background in SAP systems.
  2. Leadership experience in leading teams.
  3. Deep understanding of data governance principles, data quality, and data management best practices.
  4. Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other SAP ERP systems is a must.
  5. Experience in data migration and transformation projects, including data mapping and data conversion processes.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Project management skills to oversee data-related projects and initiatives effectively.
  9. Familiarity with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and SAP Information Steward is a strong plus.
  10. SAP certification is a plus.
