For our Client, an international company in the new technology sector, we are looking for Candidates for the role of Master Data Specialist.
Your new role
- Create, update, and maintain vendors’, clients’, materials, and employees’ master data in the system, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely processing of master data requests in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and company policies.
- Conduct regular data validation and cleansing activities to maintain high-quality master data.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of master data in compliance with data governance policies.
- Support data governance initiatives, including data stewardship, data quality management, and master data policy adherence.
- Monitor and enforce data quality, security, and consistency within the system to align with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and data governance frameworks.
- Act as a point of contact for process stakeholders, addressing data-related inquiries, issue resolution, and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, IT) to ensure seamless master data integration with other business functions.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, focusing on automation, system enhancements, and process optimization.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of master data management procedures by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
What you'll need to succeed- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in ERP systems (SAP or SAP S/4HANA), with a focus on P2P (Procure-to-Pay), O2C (Order-to-Cash), and R2R (Record-to-Report) processes.
- Strong data management and system administration skills, including data validation, data integrity checks, and troubleshooting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data manipulation, pivot tables, formulas, macros) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.
- Proactive approach to continuous improvement, focusing on process automation and efficiency.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, evolving business environment and work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills. Knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage.
