For AMMEGA Global ICT team , we are currently looking for a Master Data Specialist .

The Master Data Specialist is responsible to execute changes to master data (customer, material & vendor) as approved by business review process including requests to create, change, extend, block/unblock, activate/deactivate, or otherwise modify master data and executes mass maintenance requests as directed. You will report to the MDM LEAD and be part of the Global ICT team. In this role, you will be based in KATOWICE, POLAND.

Responsibilities

Individual accountabilities:

  • Execute changes to master data (customer, material & vendor) as approved by business review process including requests to create, change, extend, block/unblock, activate/deactivate, or otherwise modify master data and executes mass maintenance requests as directed.
  • Familiarity and knowledge of departmental functions, terminology, and interrelationships for data types such as Customer (AR, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Customer Support, etc.), Vendor (Procurement, Supply Chain, AP, Customer Support, etc.), and/or Material (Procurement, Supply Chain, AR, AP, Customer Support, etc.).
  • Execute the policies for master data management and business rules and monitor the adherence of the policies and procedures across all functional groups.
  • Organize and manage data clean-up and validation efforts by reaching out to all business partners to ensure the integrity of master data.
  • Document master data activities accurately and appropriately, and according to established formats. Write and/or revise department documents in compliance with business change control processes.
  • Monitor data accuracy, validity, and completeness and correct as needed. Follow established routine verification procedures and provide feedback to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes.
  • Governance to eliminate the creation of redundancies in Material Master Data. Managing the manufacturing data for consistency throughout the Global system. Audit Manufacturing data for assurance and timeliness. Spot checks as well as report reviews. Stewardship to ensure classification and structural integrity and Manufacturing Data.
  • Disseminate, train and then monitor the usage of this data by a variety of business and IT functional areas.
  • Ensure data quality, as well as principles and processes that will maintain data consistency across business platforms.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for master data changes to use within the MDM team.
  • Ensure conformance with all regulatory and company requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economic or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of related work experience in any ERP, ideally with D365 F&O master data and pricing.
  • Strong data analysis skills required: MS Excel, MS Access expertise.
  • Clear high-performance orientation, committed to agreed-upon objectives, and takes pride in work; demonstrates energy, enthusiasm, positive attitude, and creativity in problem-solving.
  • Executes duties in a customer-focused, cooperative team approach with all Company personnel.
  • Develops and maintains a strong working relationship with the IT support team and IT management.
  • Work independently as well as being a key team member of the global MDM team.
  • Experience partnering with vendors and consultants.
