Evolve and develop the master data management (MDM) strategy.
Establish common MDM domains including but not limited to customer, supplier, materials, product, production, reference data, location, asset and employees.
Responsible for MDM related to all business applications including SAP S4/HANA.
Data Governance
Establish standard operating procedures and documentation.
Establish MDM Organisation.
Support and advice departments in all aspects of master data management.
Build a trusted and authoritative view of the data to support data driven decisions.
Determine the appropriate KPI’s to measure master data performance.
Data Quality
Enforcement adoption of standards
Responsibility for monitoring data quality in close cooperation with business managers
Establish standards and systems for continuous monitoring of data quality and initiation of the resulting improvement measures covering the complete data lifecycle (creation, update and archive/deletion processes) by following the standards and quality requirements
Development of optimization and automation proposals for data maintenance.
Develop data cleansing plans based on data gaps.
Ensure that Master Data is maintained efficiently and accurately in all systems.
Leadership
People development and leadership of central Master data team.
Matrix leadership.
requirements-expected :
Experience in managing master data management domain in an international environment
Expertise in executing transformational processes in MDM, including seamless transitions and process optimization.
Demonstrated success in establishing and developing organizational structures dedicated to Master Data Management
Degree in the area of economics, engineering, informatics or comparable qualification
Multi-year professional experience in master data management and Governance
Multi-year SAP experience
Analytical and strategic thinking but also pragmatic problem-solving skills
Good communication and negotiation skills at management level
Fluent in English; German is a plus
Experience in setting up and maintaining global process landscapes, in an IATF 16949 environment is a plus
Experience with business process improvement methodologies
