We are looking for an experienced SQL, Python, AWS Backend Developer and Data Architect driving MarTech and analytics innovation.
As a Marketing Data Engineer at CMC Markets, you will play a central role in building and optimizing our marketing and analytics data ecosystem. You’ll design high-performance data pipelines, architect integrations between marketing platforms, and enable advanced analytics across attribution, audience segmentation, and Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM).
Your mission: Engineer scalable, reliable data systems that drive marketing intelligence, attribution, and automation across the CMC Markets MarTech stack.
responsibilities :
Architect and build scalable data systems
Design and implement data pipelines and backend services connecting marketing, analytics, and CRM platforms using SQL, Python, and AWS technologies.
Develop and optimize MarTech integrations
Build and maintain APIs and ETL processes that unify data across key platforms including BigQuery, Braze, mParticle (CDP), and major ad networks (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok).
Advance marketing analytics and attribution modelling
Create robust data models and pipelines that enable multi-touch attribution, customer journey analysis, and campaign ROI measurement.
Support Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM)
Develop and maintain structured datasets and data ingestion processes to support econometric modelling and media effectiveness analysis.
Automate and orchestrate workflows
Implement data automation solutions to streamline audience activation, tagging, and campaign reporting, ensuring consistency and scalability across markets.
Collaborate cross-functionally
Partner with marketing, data science, and engineering teams to ensure MarTech data infrastructure aligns with business goals and supports experimentation, personalization, and insights delivery.
Ensure data quality and governance
Monitor, validate, and document data sources, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with internal data standards.
requirements-expected :
Proven experience in data engineering, backend development, or Martech data architecture roles.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, including data modeling, API integration, and workflow automation.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, Redshift, Glue, or Step Functions).
Strong understanding of marketing data ecosystems, including analytics, attribution, and customer data platforms (preferably Braze).
Familiarity with BigQuery or similar large-scale data warehouses.
Experience building or maintaining data pipelines for analytics, measurement, or campaign orchestration.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with attention to performance and scalability.
Fluent in English (C1+)
