Were enhancing our global digital sales & marketing efforts and need a skilled Marketing Business Analyst to turn data into actionable insights and drive our strategic approach to marketing data. Come join our Group Digital Sales and Marketing department, based in our newly established satellite office in Poznan, Poland!

You will play a pivotal role in driving a data-driven approach to marketing & sales in a global B2B company. Working with counterparts and stakeholders in sales and marketing from North America, Europe and Asia, you’ll be defining how we work with data and deliver insights across functions, business areas and geographies whilst delivering actionable dashboards & reports for the business.

We are at a pivotal point in our data maturity, recently having implemented a Customer Data Cockpit (Data Warehouse and Data Lake), one collective data repository and visualization platform for shared interpretation of Key Performance Indicators and performance for Marketing and Sales. Positioning ourselves with the foundation for activating data to improve customer experience – and bring value to Marketing and Sales.

Your future team:

You will join a dynamic team dedicated to creating transforming Marketing and Sales in ROCKWOOL by building the fully integrated end-to-end customer journey. Our diverse team consists of 17 colleagues from 8 different nationalities, divided into 4 smaller expert teams that support the entire digital marketing and sales experience for our customers. You will be a part of the Sales Automation team and will collaborate closely with all the expert teams to connect data across the customer journey.

What you will be doing:



  1. Product and Project Management
    • Own the Marketing track of the Customer Data Cockpit Project. Lead and manage marketing analytics projects from inception to completion to deliver dashboards & reports to the business. Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables in close collaboration with the Product Owner (PO), Product manager and development team. Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of results. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
    • Take ownership of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics in ROCKWOOL, ensuring that all tracking across company websites is meaningful, reliable & accurate. Establish and enforce data governance standards to mitigate risks, ensure data privacy compliance, and align with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee regular audits and quality checks to verify the accuracy and reliability of tracking implementations. Ensure consistent, trustworthy data that stakeholders can confidently use for strategic decision-making.
    • Oversee the configuration and ongoing management of Cookiebot across all company websites to ensure cookies are correctly placed on each page and aligned with user consent preferences.
  2. Data Analysis and Insights Communication
    • Analyse marketing and sales data to understand the customer journey and key areas for improvement. Identify trends and patterns to inform marketing and sales strategies. Transform business insights into requirements and visualizations for dashboards.
    • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to effectively share insights with stakeholders. Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for data-driven strategies. Lead change towards a data-driven approach within the marketing and sales teams and the broader organization. Communicate complex data findings in a clear and actionable manner.
    • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align marketing and sales efforts. Implement tactics that bridge marketing efforts with sales outcomes. Use insights to improve lead generation and conversion rates.
  3. Technical Skills and Tools
    • Develop and maintain data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio and Excel.
    • Leverage technical skills to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting processes. Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Plausible, Clarity, Looker Studio and Google Cloud, SoMe platforms, Google Ads, Marketo and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Manage and utilize data within Snowflake for analysis and reporting, use SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in an analyst role, within digital marketing or sales.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing metrics, customer behaviour, and sales funnel dynamics, preferably in a B2B industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio, and Excel.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Analytics (preferably GA4) & firsthand experience working with Google Tag Manager.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. Snowflake experience is an advantage.
  • Capable of developing and maintaining Power BI models and performing analysis independently when needed.
  • You are self-driven and comfortable with setting the direction, you know how to bring ROCKWOOL forward in terms of data and analytics maturity.
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of Digital Marketing tools: Plausible, Clarity, Looker Studio and Google Cloud, SoMe platforms, Google Ads, Marketo and Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be beneficial.
  • Proven experience in project management, with the ability to lead projects from inception to completion.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex insights to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and comfortable in taking dialogue with IT and senior business.
  • Creating actions that will foster change and a global focus towards transformation to become data driven.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
