As Market Access Lead within our Sanofi Poland Team you’ll support the implementation of all the necessary activities in order to support the company’s objectives achievement through the rapid and efficient market access of the company’s products.

You will adapt global pricing strategy at local level and help to maintain and optimize products pricing conditions over time. Anticipate potential changes to pricing environment and implement strategies to mitigate the risk for our portfolio.

Main responsibilities:

  1. Support and implement Market Access strategies, plans and tactics for products and solutions throughout the lifecycle to ensure optimization of the recommendations, prices and access in line with the business priorities and strategic Pharma/Vaccines ambitions.
  2. Prepares analyses on which the commercial decisions are taken in relation to prices, recommendations, and funding including Market Access perspectives. Manages the approval flow for all price decisions and tenders and prepares the submissions for price recommendations. Will also support key X-indication initiatives, to optimize the franchise value and promote Excellence in Execution at national level.
  3. Supports evidence generation related to Market Access and ensures alignment with the business priorities, needs of the market, and the Global Brand Strategy.
  4. Supports the development of early Market Access potential for the new product portfolio.
  5. Supports and participates in the relevant Authority negotiations together with the Country MA Head for the best possible access and pricing according to approved commercial and access strategies.
  6. Maintain an expert level understanding of relevant recommendations, pricing and funding criteria used by payers in the market to make informed decisions about Market Access strategies, plans and tactics. Actively scans the environment, including legislative, for emerging trends and identifies future risks within the SANOFI TRT concept.
  7. Anticipate potential changes to Pricing & Reimbursement environment and implement strategies to minimize the risk and resulting negative price reference impacts.
  8. Establish relationships with key officers at the National Organization for Medicines related to pricing and reimbursement issues.
  9. Ensure on-time submission to the Authorities of the requested data for the price revisions as well as the supporting documentation for the appeals.
  10. Manage the preparation and submission of price applications for the relevant products in close collaboration with all relevant departments (Business, Regulatory, Trade) - secure that the proposed prices are aligned with our assumptions.
  11. Manage GPS database and ensure it is up to date.
  12. Provide input and guidance to business and to cross-functional teams regarding pricing, reimbursement and rebates issues.
  13. Present companys appeals at the relevant Authorities after any price revision and the issuance of the draft price bulletin, in order to achieve price corrections.

Experience: Confirmed experience in a similar function in the pharmaceutical industry.

Soft and technical skills: Knowledge of existing and emerging market access stakeholders and influencers for Pharma products, demonstrated experience in scenario analyses related to payer value proposition, evidence requirements, pricing and access potential for each scenario to shape disease area and commercial strategy as early as phase I or in-licensing to maximize commercial potential.

Education: Master’s degree in health economics, pharmacology or similar preferably complemented with an MBA.

Languages: Fluency in English and Polish required.
