• Collaborating with the developers, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of solutions aimed at enhancing the database stack.
• The project is for a global leader in electronic payments, providing innovative technological solutions for the financial sector. It specializes in delivering advanced payment services that help businesses execute secure and efficient transactions worldwide.

• Conducting robustness improvement projects
• Developing and implementing automation for routine database tasks such as backups, scaling, and updates
• Monitoring database security and proactively applying best practices
• Participating in the design, implementation, and operation of solutions to enhance the database stack in collaboration with developers
• Enhancing the monitoring and alerting stack of application databases
• Performing daily operational tasks, including database change management, query fine-tuning, and troubleshooting
• Providing tools to enable developers to become autonomous in daily data operations
• Documenting database configurations, procedures, and architecture
• Participating in rotating on-call duties

• Excellent knowledge of MariaDB on Linux 
• Previous work with queries performance tuning and analysis
• Good understanding of various GIT flows
• Experience with Redis or Cassandra (or other No SQL databases), MS SQL, and platform as a service (PAASS) or Infrastructure as code (IAC) will be an asset
• Very good communication skills in English
• Fluent Polish required
