Manufacturing Quality Control Leader
We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Quality Control Leader to join our Quality Team. This role is responsible for leading a team focused on ensuring high quality standards across the Production areas. The successful candidate will play a key role in solving quality issues on the production floor, supervising nonconforming products, analyzing scrap and defects, and ensuring effective Quality Assurance activities on the production line. The position involves ownership of quality control processes such as Control Plans, production audits, and the Outgoing Inspection process, as well as close cooperation with Production, Engineering, and other cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage QC engineering team, fostering professional growth and performance by: planning team activities, supervision over the implementation of team members tasks, motivating and supporting employees, implementing improvements where necessary, representing the team before other departments in the companys structures, setting goals for the whole team, recruitment and onboarding of new employees, team performance monitoring, reporting to the supervisor
- Supervision of non‑conforming products: NCR management, non‑conforming parts stock management.
- Audits & Inspections: representing company during external audits (BSI, FDA, SGS), support internal audits, participation in Gemba walks
- Creating, updating and approving quality documentation according to company needs.
- Prepare reports and statistics summarizing quality issues.
- Co‑operation with multidisciplinary departments within: Processes improvements stabilization, Lean Management, Effectiveness
- Following procedures, directives, standards, policy and law requirements, consideration of complaints regarding both products and raw materials, NPI, FMEA analysis. Support in Control Plan creation based on FMEA and outgoing inspection process supervising.
- Work within project groups.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Higher degree (preferred Quality Management/ Quality Engineering)
- Knowledge of Medical Device regulations (ISO 13485, 9001, MDSAP standards)
- Languages: Fluent Polish, enabling effective communication both spoken and written. Fluent English, enabling effective communication both spoken and written.
- Computer programs knowledge: Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX will be an additional advantage.
- Professional experience: 1 year on similar position or min 2 years on independent position
