Manufacturing Process Engineer
Your responsibilities:
- Define operation processes and create and release manufacturing documents, such as, flowchart, PFMEA, Control plan, WI, Parameter setting etc.,
- Responsible for manufacturing operation in daily work to reach quality, cost, and delivery targets,
- Lead problem solving and process optimization of stamping/Bending/ Powder coating/assembly process, such as cycle time and manpower reduction etc.,
- Use quality tools to solve the technical and quality problem, such as 5why, fishbone diagram, process mapping,8D,
- Organize continuous improvement for quality optimization and productivity improvement,
- Works with maintenance engineers or automation to develop new innovative process steps to improve productivity,
- Handle new product introduction project into normal production,
- Responsible for optimizing and qualifying new tooling, new equipment, or new line.
We require:
- Bachelor in mechanical design or related field,
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a process engineer in any relevant part of production,
- Be familiar with busbar manufacturing process. (EX: Stamping/Laser cutting/Bending/Welding/Powder coating/Lamination/assembly),
- Familiarity with statistical evaluation methods,
- Experience with Lean methodologies,
- Proficiency in office software (Windows, MS Office, CAD),
- Strong skills in communication and conflict resolution,
- Self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement,
- Good oral and written communication skills in English,
- Openness to work stationary on site in Katowice.
