Your Job



The Manufacturing Engineer takes over subprojects within the engineering department and helps the tooling and automation engineers in executing projects. He/She attends the daily shop floor routine and executes improvement projects in the shop floor. The production support engineer actively assists process validation (e.g. set up planning and sample production) and documentation. The manufacturing engineer will take care of lean practice in the plant including process & value stream mapping and ensure lean discipline.



What You Will Do

• Take care of plant layout, update existing documentation and implement changes
• New equipment introduction
• Develop automation of existing equipment with Automation Engineer
• Tool optimization and introduction with Tooling / Molding Engineer
• Improve logistics and material flow (e.g. WiP optimization)
• Routing on SAP for final approval
• Updating of BOM Routines (SAP)
• Coordinating Lean subprojects
• Improvements from daily shop floor routines are implemented
• Identifies manufacturing improvement projects to support the day-to-day manufacturing execution
• Solve day-to-day problems where engineering assistance is needed
• Promoting and applying in practice PBM rules

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Proficiency in English is essential for this role
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles
• Responsible for the layout and optimisation of production space
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk software
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Proficiency in Minitab would be advantageous
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards
