Manual Test Engineer in Firmware Verification

Your responsibilities

• Execute manually test cases on devices (hearing aids and their accessories) and reporting results, including analysis
• Defect handling and investigating, reporting issues, and conducting retests
• Analyze specifications, design, document and review test cases
• Support feature development with investigation and explorative testing
• Maintain existing test base
• Collaborate closely with test managers, other test engineers, developers and application experts of various disciplines in an agile development environment

Employer requirements

• An engineer: by education degree in computer science and attitude in daily work as well
• 3+ years of professional work experience in testing, preferably in a regulated industry
• ISTQB knowledge and understanding its principles
• Hands-on experience in testing embedded devices that are working in eco-systems with mobile phones and PCs
• Passion for high quality and precise documentation
• Team-player, ability to work effectively across geographical, cultural and language borders
• Fluent English
