Client: International company that delivers online banking solutions to various companies across the globe

Location: 100% remote

Contract Type: b2b

The role involves:

1. Interacting with the Business Analysis team to analyse and review requirements, use cases and Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) diagrams.
2. Attending Scrum Estimation meetings and representing the QA team in relation to QA Testing Tasks.
3. Defining, developing and conducting appropriate test cases that will verify all aspects of requirement details.
4. Experience working with an agile development team and a good understanding of Scrum Processes.
5. Interacting with the Development team to enable bugs to be reported, reproduced and rectified.
6. Managing, configuring and deploying Sprint Testing Platforms.
7. Troubleshooting Server-side Application Logging.
8. Contributing to continuous improvement in testing standards and procedures.
9. Other activities as required.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Experience as a QA Engineer working in a micro-services deployment environment.
2. Experience of some or all of the following technologies: XML, SOAP/REST API’s, Eclipse, JBoss, Linux, Docker, Oracle/Postgres, PL/SQL, JIRA.
3. Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to use SQL to verify report results with the Relational database.
4. Strong research and problem-solving skills.
5. Experience as a QA Engineer or other relevant roles.
6. Extensive experience in writing Test Documentation based upon a set of requirements, use cases and BPMN diagrams.
7. A very good understanding of requirements management and traceability.
8. The candidate must have strong technical skills.
9. Quick learner with the ability to become effective in a short time frame.
10. Self-reliant with the ability to innovate, showing sound judgment and pragmatism.
