Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Director to lead and oversee our entire German operation, based in Gdansk. This individual will be responsible for all business functions, including Sales, Operational, and Financial Oversight, and Strategic Growth across SLAVIC and other EU Regions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Drive Sales growth through direct sales leadership, account management and expansion, and new market penetration.
- Support key customer relationships in industrial, municipal, and OEM sectors.
- Identify and evaluate new partnerships, distributors, and project opportunities.
Operational Oversight
- Oversee warehousing and distribution, inventory planning & management,logistics, and regional distribution.
- Ensure operational compliance with EU regulations, safety standards, andinternal SOPs.
- Coordinate with global teams on sourcing, and technical development.
- Manage Financial performance, cash flow management and budgeting
- Lead Talent Management inlcuding hiring and personel develolpment
- Submit Monthly key performance reports to corporate headoffice in USA
Qualifications
Required:
- Prior experience in the activated carbon industry strongly preferred.
- Proven Senior leadership (Operational or Sales) experience in industrial, chemical, water treatment, or environmental services sectors.
- Good knowledge of activated carbon and its applications
- Fluent in Polishand English(spoken and written).
- Education background in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or related field.
