As we expand our Air & Sea footprint in Poland, we’re looking for a Managing Director who blends operational expertise with a strong commercial mindset. Someone who can build a thriving business, drive revenue, and lead a team with clarity and confidence.

Your mission

You will own and lead LEMAN’s Air & Sea operations in Poland - strategically, commercially, and culturally. You’ll set the direction, build the local organization, and ensure we deliver reliable, high-quality solutions for our customers.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Business leadership: Build and execute the national strategy for Air & Sea, with full P&L accountability.
• Commercial growth: Drive sales activities and customer acquisition; develop long-term partnerships and strengthen our market position.
• Operational excellence: Ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable import/export operations with consistent service quality.
• Team leadership: Hire, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team. Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Customer focus: Champion a service-driven mindset and ensure customer needs are met with proactive, solution-oriented support.
• Cross-border collaboration: Work closely with Nordic and European teams to align performance, share best practices, and ensure a consistent global standard.

Who You Are

• A seasoned leader within Air & Sea freight forwarding, ideally with experience scaling business units or opening new markets
• Strong commercial profile with a proven track record in sales, customer development, and strategic partnerships
• Experience with P&L responsibility and comfortable with business planning, forecasting, and financial targets
• A skilled communicator - clear, pragmatic, and able to build trust quickly
• Capable of driving change while keeping teams engaged and aligned
• Fluent in Polish and English
