Meet the Team

We are seeking a Managing Director to head Cisco’s business in Poland. We are looking for an inspiring individual with a strong background in sales and leadership, executive presence, resilience, and outstanding interpersonal skills - someone who motivates high-performing teams, accelerates growth through cross-selling, upselling, and new franchise acquisition, and cultivates lasting customer and partner relationships.

In this highly strategic role, you will orchestrate Cisco’s engagement across the global ecosystem - including international teams, partners, and business support functions, to implement go-to-market and coverage strategies, deliver innovative solutions and advancing our market position. Your Impact

As Managing Director, you will set the vision and drive execution for a dynamic sales team, developing and executing ambitious growth strategies and comprehensive sales plans to strengthen our market presence. You will represent Cisco at industry events, business forums, and with customers and partners, amplifying Cisco’s brand and strategic influence.

Your success will be measured by top-line growth, pipeline expansion, and achievement of both short and long-term objectives. You will lead teams to define and execute our go-to-market strategy, align resources, and ensure operational excellence - from forecasting and reporting to project management and executive communication.

You will use your knowledge of Cisco’s product portfolio to effectively articulate the "One Cisco Story" and align solutions to our customers’ needs. You will build and sustain strategic relationships with our partners. You will be responsible for the growth and succession of your team, cultivating a high-performance culture, teamwork, and building a strong leadership foundation for scalable, future-focused initiatives. By optimizing processes and using advanced digital tools, AI and automation, you will accelerate our business and reinforce Cisco’s leadership in Poland.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in IT/ Telco sales.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales leadership, people management and leading people leaders.
  • Proven track record in selling software and hardware solutions to large organizations as well as the public sector, and history of overachieving team quotas.
  • Demonstrated ability to orchestrate diverse groups of people and influence at all levels across various job functions, both inside and outside the organization.
  • Experience in business planning, forecasting and operational excellence.
  • Fluent in English and Polish, with experience interacting with people at all organizational levels, including senior leadership (C-Level).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Curiosity and creativity in developing innovative solutions to significant challenges, along with a strong interest in learning new technologies and methodologies.
  • Extensive experience in change management, data analysis, and automating processes.
  • An active listening skills with ability to understand challenges, prioritize objectives, and align teams to achieve results.
  • An MBA degree or equivalent
