The Manager – Developer will act as a Senior Developer in the AMS Digital Product Delivery function, taking a lead in development activities, as well as manging a team of cross skilled developers to support the Digital Product roadmap.

AS a Senior Developer they will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI solutions to solve complex business problems. This role involves with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into existing systems and create innovative AI-driven products.

A subject matter expert and operational leader in developing AI solutions they will partner with delivery management and product management to deliver the digital product roadmap, and the implementation of digital products to our clients and operational teams

Your responsibilities

  • AI Model Development:Design, develop, and train machine learning models and algorithms.
  • Conduct data pre-processing, feature engineering, and model
  • Optimize and fine-tune models for performance and scalability.
  • Integration and Deployment:Integrate AI models into existing systems and applications.
  • Develop APIs and tools to facilitate the use of AI models by other
  • Monitor and maintain deployed models to ensure ongoing performance
  • Research and Innovation:Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine
  • Experiment with new techniques and technologies to improve existing solutions.
  • Contribute to research papers and technical documentation
  • Leadership and Management:Lead and manage team of software developers
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the development teams.
  • Ensure succession, development and retention plans are in place and regularly reviewed
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards in all development activities.
  • Act as a role model at all times in building collaborative partnerships that work effectively across a heavily matrixed structure

Our requirements

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical methods.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Demonstrable experience in AI development or a related role.
  • Proven track record of developing and deploying AI models in a production
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Optional

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Skills in front-end and back-end web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular
