The Opportunity – The CIB Banking Transformation & Performance team is at the heart of driving strategic change and building world‑class digital capabilities that simplify the lives of our colleagues and customers. This exciting role is part of the UK CMB, where you will help create seamless customer and colleague experiences by removing inefficiencies and delivering on the UK CMB strategic change agenda. You’ll have the opportunity to work with senior colleagues, while enjoying the freedom to shape and drive initiatives with only minor supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Drive process improvement by identifying, designing, and implementing initiatives that streamline operations and reduce complexity.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver strategic change, embed the Voice of the Customer, and align with regulatory standards.
  • Re‑imagine HSBC processes to enhance customer journeys, enable sustainable growth, and optimise costs.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, applying Lean Six Sigma techniques and delivering related training.
  • Ensure high‑quality and timely delivery of projects in line with the HSBC Change Framework.
  • Act as a role model and trusted advisor, fostering collaboration, innovation, and forward‑thinking across the organisation.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in process re‑engineering and change management, with knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong data analysis, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with proven facilitation skills.
  • Understanding of the Business Banking industry.
  • Proficiency in tools such as ARIS, MS Office, Confluence, and Jira desirable.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent required.
