Your new company
On behalf of our client, new global SSC located in Wrocław, we are looking for a leader to take ownership of the SAP Master Data Governance function in a tightly regulated pharmaceutical environment. This position is central to ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and consistency of all master data across SAP landscape, supporting essential processes such as product development, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and finance.
Your new role
Develop and drive the SAP Master Data strategy in alignment with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulatory expectations (e.g., GxP, FDA, EMA).
Act as the global owner of all SAP Master Data processes.
Design, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and controls to ensure high data quality across all master data domains (e.g., Material, Customer, Vendor, Product, Finance).
Partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure master data enables end-to-end regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.
Lead the deployment and ongoing enhancement of SAP Master Data Management solutions, including workflows, validation rules, and system integrations.
Build, manage, and develop a high-performing team of data stewards, analysts, and technical specialists responsible for data lifecycle management and quality.
Track, analyse, and report on data quality KPIs, initiating corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
Provide support for audits and regulatory inspections by supplying evidence of data governance practices and compliance controls.
What you'll need to succeed
Over 7 years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance.
Proven leadership in cross-functional environments, with experience managing global data governance programs.
University degree in IT, business, or a related field.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, along with familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) and their impact on data governance, would be a strong advantage.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Fluent in English.
