Overview
Reporting directly to the Director, HR Operations, the Manager, HR Vendor Management will orchestrate the comprehensive HR vendor portfolio, including management of contracts, invoicing, and sourcing. This role requires close collaboration with HR Center of Excellence Leaders, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and the HR Operations team to establish, monitor, and remunerate all HR vendors/outside services. It also drives strategic initiatives, optimizes vendor performance, and manages related risks to ensure seamless HR operations and support the company’s objectives.

Heres What Youll Do
- Steer strategic direction and execution of HR vendor management, ensuring optimal resource use and efficiency.
- Translate the annual HR budget into strategic planning, including the creation of Purchase Orders (POs), monitor expenditure, drive accountability among HR stakeholders, and maintain a comprehensive monthly reporting system on PO spend, promptly highlighting PO run-rates that exceed projections.
- Design and optimize HR vendor SLAs for high-quality service delivery.
- Create and maintain a strategic vendor list to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Preserve accurate service provider data within ServiceNow.
- Lead negotiations to finalize agreements with procurement, legal, and service providers.
- Collaborate with key teams to optimize contracts in Agiloft/SAP.
- Ensure accurate entry of purchase requisitions tied to correct cost centers.
- Educate external vendors on Modernas invoice process.
- Work with accounts payable to streamline invoice processing.
- Partner with HR teams to identify suitable service providers/vendors and offer alternatives.
- Serve as primary liaison for all external HR vendors and internal teams.
- Arrange feedback meetings with external vendors and service providers.
Heres What Youll Bring to the Table
- BA/BS degree or equivalent is required; equivalent work experience in HR or Procurement/Sourcing.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in functional HR support and documentation.
- Experience with SAP Ariba and SAP systems required.
- Experience with Workday and ServiceNow preferred.
- Experience managing multiple service providers with various terms and contracts.
- Working knowledge of vendor/contract management and invoice processing.
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, influence multiple partners, and establish common goals without sacrificing outcomes.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Thrives in matrix environments, is flexible, collaborative and deadline-driven.
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail and a delivery-focused mindset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong prioritization skills.
- Analytical mindset, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
