responsibilities :
Leading the team of Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Business Analysts,
Responsible for the development of craftsmanship – how a job should be done,
Being a team member of one squad, delivering with your chapter members the value for the organization by completing the backlog items,
Guards the realization of the vision for the product from the perspective of future skillset needed,
If necessary, you are not afraid to roll-up the sleeves and help your chapter members,
With your experience in data management, you will share knowledge and make sure team members have appropriate competencies and skills needed now and in future,
Planning, recruiting, onboarding new team members and planning their learning and development paths,
Make sure that the team results are of the highest quality by coaching, assessing team members and by establishing standards,
You will collaborate closely with other departments and teams within the ING and work closely with them to achieve common goals.
requirements-expected :
excellent leadership skills with proven examples in your previous roles, at least 2 year of experience in team management (5-10 FTEs, direct reporting line) in agile environment,
3 years of experience in working with data and their analysis using quantitative methods,
good knowledge of SAS,
excellent knowledge of SQL,
hands-on experience in creating data models, integrating data from various sources, preparing data and data analysis,
excellent communication skills, writing and verbal, in Polish and in English (fluently) and you can adopt the communication style depending on with whom you talk,
ability to learn fast, solve problems independently and work well in fast-paced environment,
knowledge what best-in class recruitment process, effective onboarding, good year evaluation and people management are and how to tackle difficult conversations,
proactive and have can-do attitude.
