Integration Consultant

Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the end-to-end deployment of technical system integrations between a customer’s Workday system and their 3rd party enterprise architecture.
- Use Workday’s enterprise-class ESB technology to translate integration requirements into architectural decisions and build test and deploy integrations into production.
- Support broader technical project discussions on integration Enterprise Architecture best practices application security concepts and system authentication.
- Work on multiple customer deployments with a high degree of autonomy in how you run those workloads.
- Engage in certification and training, then apply knowledge to active project engagements: capture and understand client business requirements demonstrate configurations through prototypes, configure and test the Workday solution, and, where appropriate, lead projects with guidance from a Workday Integration Architect.
- Provide status updates to the Engagement Manager or Integration Lead and assist the functional consulting team with integration design and operations.
- Ensure the client is reference-able in production and contribute to sharing product skills with other consultants.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams and coach new team members as you gain experience.

Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in business or computer science; English language at business level; 2 years of consulting experience (internal or with a consulting/software company); knowledge of software deployment life cycle and testing practices;
- Other Qualifications: understanding of integration patterns, data manipulation and transmission (optimizing for speed and performance); expertise in business process analysis; strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills; good communication and presentation skills; customer-facing comfort; resourceful and adaptable; business-level French and/or German is a distinct advantage; in-depth understanding of APIs, Web Services (SOAP, REST), XML and XSLT.
