Job Description - Maintenance Engineer for Conveyor Technology Paint Shop (MER0003H3V)

Description

1. As part of the Paint shop team, you will be responsible for mechanical and electronic inspections, maintenance, and repairs to sorter systems in our production and logistics areas as part of high-performance industrial paint shop production systems.
2. This includes the development of technological strategies and maintenance processes (SAP-I-Pro-System) of conveyor systems such as Scissor-lifts, Roller beds, Main lifter, Cross-conveyor, and specific Paint shop requirements such as the Rodip-conveyor technology, or the oven and dip tank specifications.
3. In addition, you will prepare and follow-up operations and cooperate in the preparation of maintenance reports.
4. You will support operational maintenance on site, acting as an expert in the event of technical breakdowns, leading a team of up to ten employees during maintenance assignments/troubleshooting, and being pragmatic and solution-oriented. The team consists of electrical and automation technicians.

Qualifications

1. Higher technical education: MSc or Bachelor (preferably in Electronic, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering).
2. Several years of experience in a similar position.
3. Knowledge of paint shop technologies such as paint application and processes, chemicals, sprays, filtration, pumps, degreaser, rectifier process, anodes, and sealant application.
4. Knowledge of the automotive environment including experience with Automation, Robots, PLC, and Computer control systems.
5. Very good organization of working time, commitment, diligence, and reliability.
6. Responsibility and the ability to solve problems independently.
7. Driving license B.
8. English enabling easy communication.
9. Ability to work in a team.
10. Readiness to travel abroad.
