Are you a Mainframe enthusiast with a passion for security & scripting? Do terms like RACF, ReXX, CARLa, ISPF make your heart race (in a good way)? Were looking for a Mainframe Security Engineer who likes to put their hands under the hood.

Responsibilities

• Coding and Scripting: Writing and maintaining scripts (e.g., ReXX, JCL) to automate processes and to enhance security measures.
• Configuring Software: Setting up and configuring mainframe security software and tools (e.g., RACF, zSecure).
• System Administration: Managing and maintaining the mainframe environment, including tasks like setting permissions, monitoring system logs, and ensuring compliance with security policies.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to mainframe security.
• Data Analysis: Analyzing security logs and data to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge on z/OS security architecture, RACF & USS.
• Expertise in security tools and technologies such as RACF, zSecure, and CARLa.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like ReXX, CARLa and JCL.
• Experience with ISPF and other mainframe utilities.

Skills And Competencies

• A sense of humor and the ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to see the big picture while paying attention to detail.

About The Team
