Job Description

• Support different versions of CICS.
• Upgrade CICS Transaction Server (TS) environments to new releases.
• Support and upgrade CICSPlex SM (System Manager) environments, which help manage multiple CICS systems.
• Solve complex CICS problems effectively and quickly with minimal assistance and direction.
• Support on-call 24/7.
• Support clients with CICS Web Service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a CICS Systems Programmer.
• Experience with CICS TS version 3.2 or higher .
• Knowledge of handling capacity and performance issues.
• Ability to read and debug mainframe core dumps (detailed error reports).
• Familiarity with mainframe tools like TSO (Time Sharing Option), ISPF (Interactive System Productivity Facility), SDSF (System Display and Search Facility), and JCL (Job Control Language).
• Experience with CICS TS working with DB2 databases.
• Skill in researching technical issues and finding software solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with z/OS Connect and RestAPI.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Omegamon XE or TMON.
• Experience with programming languages such as Assembler, REXX, and other scripting languages.
• Experience with high-availability applications.
