In todays dynamic banking landscape Production Operations team empowers our business partners growth by ensuring the 24/7 availability of critical technological platforms. We are the first line of defence, proactively minimizing downtime, swiftly resolving technical issues, overseeing real-time performance, responding to incidents and emergencies therefore ensuring system stability and security through automated monitoring and rapid decision-making. Our vigilance over backbone computing processes is fundamental to the banks prosperity and competitiveness in the information age.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for Mainframe infrastructure through initial triage and troubleshooting within the Command Centers operational scope. This ensures that all quality initiatives and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met
  • Utilize monitoring systems to provide Command Center Management and Technical Support teams with immediate health checks on the technology infrastructure involved in incidents
  • Provide an effective and prompt response to phone calls made to the Command Center Hotline. Serve as the entry point for incidents into the support lifecycle, including initial incident recording and classification
  • Maintain and update procedural documentation to meet business specifications
  • Perform change reviews, accept changes, and implement change tasks as scheduled

Qualifications

This position requires the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with a fluctuating, potentially voluminous operational workload.

  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written): This role involves interacting with IT management and highly technical engineers
  • Minimum of 2 years of general Mainframe experience required
  • While not mandatory, official IBM/Broadcom certifications and badges are considered a significant advantage
  • Problem-solving abilities: Methodical and analytical skills are essential
  • High energy with adaptability to change: Ability to adjust to evolving situations
  • Good organizational and coordinating skills: Capable of setting priorities effectively
  • Ambitious with a dedication to continuous growth and self-improvement
  • Strong time management skills: Possesses a high sense of urgency and dedication.
