As a Magento 1 Developer, you will be working for our client, a technology company within a leading retail group, developing and maintaining their e-commerce platform. You will contribute to creating custom modules, optimizing application performance, and integrating the system with external tools such as ERP, payment, and delivery services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, QA, UX/UI designers, and DevOps, to ensure seamless operation of the online store and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions for a fast-paced retail environment.
responsibilities :
Develop, modify, and refactor Magento 1 modules
Optimize application performance and database queries
Integrate Magento with external systems (ERP, payment, delivery, CRM)
Identify and resolve bugs and implement improvements
Create and maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions
Collaborate with project managers, QA, UX/UI, and DevOps teams
Maintain code quality, scalability, and security standards
Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance
Implement best practices in Magento development
Ensure seamless deployment and version control using Git
requirements-expected :
Minimum 3+ years of commercial experience with Magento 1
Strong knowledge of PHP (OOP), MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience creating custom modules and extensions in Magento
Understanding of Magento 1 architecture (layout, observers, blocks, rewrites)
Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations
Proficiency with Git and collaborative development
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks
Good organization and time management skills
Experience in optimizing Magento performance
