Toyota Boshoku Europe – Poland is the newly opened branch of Toyota Boshoku Europe, the Europe & Africa headquarters of Toyota Boshoku.
The Wrocław branch plays an important role towards Toyota Boshoku Europe’s expansion strategy, while strengthening Toyota Boshoku’s footprint in the EA region.
In the new office allows us to centralize know-how, optimize processes efficiency, increase competitiveness, improve quality of services and support future projects. It aims at improving operations of our Poland-based manufacturing companies alongside strengthening headquarters activities.
As Machine Safety Expert you will work autonomously across the Europe and Africa region to ensure suitable design and utilization of all production equipment in our Manufacturing Companies. You regularly audit our facilities to ensure safe design/use of equipment is maintained. You cooperate with your colleagues in Engineering to ensure compliance of new equipment (legal and own safety requirements) before installation. You support the plants to ensure the corrective actions are promptly implemented.
Concretely you will:
- Inspect and evaluate workplace environments and equipment to guarantee compliance with corporate and government health and safety standards and regulations
- Propose practical and safe remedial or corrective actions to guarantee compliance of our equipment and to protect employees from potentially hazardous work conditions
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify their root causes and to determine how they might be prevented in the future
- Support our Manufacturing Companies to evaluate the ergonomics of job stations and propose corrective actions to improve the condition
- Have an active involvement in new projects to ensure safety directives/requirements are considered already at the early stages of machinery/process design
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical-Electronics, or Industrial Engineering)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in machine safety
- Advance knowledge & Work experience of applicable EU Directives and industrial machinery safety standards (EN ISO 12100, EN ISO 13849, and CE directives)
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders
- Experienced in conducting risk analysis and safety assessments
- Experience in reading technical manuals or operating procedures in a manufacturing environment and machinery
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and control circuit diagrams
- Proficient in PLC systems and programming
- Familiar with industrial automation systems and control equipment
- Hands‑on experience with machine guarding systems (light curtains, emergency stop systems, safety relays, etc.)
- Skill in preparing and revising technical documentation
- Preferably certified as CMSE or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, team-oriented, and analytical thinker
